Solitary Days

by Mark Buerschaper

/

about

During infrequent visits back home, from her job (career), my wife spent most of her time tending to the house, bills etc. The situation got on my last nerve and created Solitary Days.

lyrics

The bird goes up
The bird goes down
But the bird she never lands in this town these days, solitary days

Weekly visits turn bi weekly
Heading quickly to monthly
just a couple for a couple of days

Pills are paid and children are seen
Then it's back on the plan for the New York scene while I wonder how long it will be this time?

The Bird she lands in Chicago
It seems I saws her a decade ago
These days, Solitary days
